Latest news! 👀

After you have properly met Frida and George, let me show you what they have been doing with students recently. For the "Day of the Dead", she prepared a workshop at the library accoding to the Mexican customs. We really enjoyed it and learned a lot!

Also, look at what two students from 3rd ESO made by themselves. Thanks Nicole and Jennifer!! You are so artistic👌

And last, but not least: the biology teacher organised a Bioloween class: She herself explained how they made it:

¿Te ánimas a hacerlo?"

Look at the pictures and see how scary it was!!😄👀👀👀👀👀

Hello everyone! This is a little information about me...

My name is George, I am 21 years old and I am currently in my third year at university working with the British Council to be an English Language Assistant!

I am from England and live in a county called Surrey, in the south of England near to London. My town is called Banstead and it is a town with a population of around 16,000 people. I live there with my family, my parents Mark and Kay, my older sister Amy who is 28 and my older brother Harry who is 23...I am the youngest! We have two dogs, one is a Spanish water dog called Rudy that we flew over from Spain with his own passport! The other is new to the family, she is a young cocker spaniel called Olive, she is so cute. I have lived in Banstead for many years now and went to two different schools in Surrey, one from when I was very young to the age of 13, then my secondary school for a bigger part of my life from 13-18.

My secondary school was called Caterham School, and I really loved my time there. I met a great group of friends from early on who have now become my best friends and we see each other very often and have been to amazing places as a group such as Barcelona, Portugal and with a few even Thailand and Vietnam! A huge part of my life inside and outside of school has always been sport, from a very young age I loved it, both watching it and playing it. My favourite sport since when I was young has always been football, I played at school for the team and also on a Sunday for my local club. I am a big Chelsea fan and follow all their matches, I also have always loved Spain as a national team, as well as Barcelona... which I know may upset a few Real Madrid fans!😁
All the way through school rugby was my main sport to play and I found a real love for the game and so much enjoyment of the culture of togetherness as a team, I will always love team sports more than individual. Rugby has taken me on many adventures and I have been lucky enough to visit countries such as France, South Africa and Argentina with our team!

I now study at Northumbria University in Newcastle which is far away from home in the north of England. It was a decision I am so happy with, as I love living up there and have also met another great group of best friends which I would not have met otherwise! I study International Business with Spanish.

Finally, my decision to come to Spain for a year was an easy one, having had family live in Andalucia for over 10 years it was always my first choice region. I am so happy to have been placed in Lucena, and especially Clara Campoamor. Even only being here a month I am enjoying every minute of living here and everyone at the school have made the experience 10x better already, all the teachers are so welcoming and the students are all polite and great! It's been nice to have a change of culture and especially the food, because Spanish food is one of my favourite types in the world! I love paella and tapas and all the different flavours.

I am so excited that my time here has only just begun, and I cannot wait to spend the rest of the year building even better relationships with everyone!

Thank you for reading!!😀😀 (Below are some pictures, enjoy!)
