Juggling extra activity

If you have not passed the juggling exam you can still get mark 5 by completing this extra activity.

You need to check different websites in order to get the following information:
  1. How to make juggling balls
  2. Description of 3 exercises you can do to learn to juggle (like those practised in our lessons)
  3. Description of 3 tricks
Once you get the right information, write it and draw diagrams or pictures if necessary to explain them properly.
You can use a poster and hand it to me or compose the work in a computer and send it to me by email.

The last day to send me your work is next thursday, june the 4th.
Remember that the maximun mark for this extra work is 6 points.

Summer summer

Summer is just about here.
What will you do in summer? What do people do in Lucena in summer?
In Texas we try to stay as cool as possible. With temperatures reaching 50ºC it's very hot.
Can anyone explain, what is a romeria?

3rd TERM PROJECT

Hi again!
We are now in the third term and the end of the academic year is coming. We are already looking forward to the summer!!
But we still have to work a lot, and so, for this last term's project, our students will have to complete this webquest that their bilingual teachers have created for them. It aims at improving their knowledge about ancient Greece and Greek life at that time. Have a look at it at the following link:

(If you haven't got a password, just click on "Entrar como invitado")

And have a good day!!

JUGGLING

It is time for juggling! The new unit has arrived.
We are going to make three juggling balls, so you need:
  • 10-12 regular balloons
  • 10-12 handfuls of millet or rice
  • 1 kitchen film roll
  • 1 scissors
We will also learn how to juggle the those three juggling balls step by step but, if you want to practise a little in the meanwhile I can recommend these websites:

http://learnhowtojuggle.info/
https://kidskonnect.com/fun/juggling/

An interesting fact about juggling from one those webs:
"Juggling has been around for at least 4,000 years. The first recorded evidence of juggling has been seen in ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics in the Beni Hassan tomb. Evidence of juggling has also been seen in other cultures throughout the world, including the Ancient Chinese, Ancient Greeks, Aztec Indians and Native American Indians".
